How did I start?

Well my history is very short but extremely special for me…

Everything started with a table which I built over 10 years ago, the same table remains in my living room filled with so many memories.

Right after buying our first home we started doing some renovations, very small things such as paint the walls, putting family pictures… you know, the usual. Then, my wife decided she wanted a farmhouse dining table. Now, at this point, I have never built anything from scratch. Yes, I am an average guy that can put together some preassembled furniture, but never had the opportunity or saw it necessary to build my own furniture.

She showed me a few pictures and I was like, huh… I think I can do that. At first, she wasn't sure about the idea, but then she was like… what the heck, if you really want to build it then just go for it. This started as an idea to please my wife with something that she really wanted and at the same time save a few bucks. But then, when I thought about it more while I was getting the material and putting the idea on paper, I started to get more excited and my motivation shifted a little bit. It wasn’t about saving money anymore and not only I wanted to give my wife what she really wanted. Now, I was thinking way too far into the future and picturing our kids eating and spending time at the table that I built. Every cut I made and every minute I spent sanding the table (believe me, there was a lot of sanding). I couldn't wait to see my table in the dining room and my family around it spending quality time.

Fast forward to today, everything I imagined while I was building the table came true and more. The table looks the same, but it’s filled with so many memories that makes it look much better and never out of style. So now, I like to build tables and other home decor items but the motivation remains, every item I build is to bring happiness to others.
